Digital Library of Lao Manuscripts (DLLM)
The Digital Library of Lao Manuscripts (DLLM) makes images of about 13,000 texts from throughout Laos accessible for study. Collaborating institutions are the National Library of Laos, the University of Passau, and the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin Preußischer Kulturbesitz. The project is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The first version of the DLLM database and website was launched in September 2009. This new version presents the manuscripts using iiif technology and an interface that allows for suggestions for additional or corrections of metadata.
